The Storm Lake Barrel have been manufactured for over the past
twenty years, starting in Snohomish, Washington in 1983 by Bert
Bastian. Later in 1992, Bert moved his business to Tennessee,
where in 2002, Machine Solutions purchased Storm Lake Machine from Mr.
Bastian. Later in 2003 Storm Lake began marketing handgun barrels as Storm
Lake Barrels by Machine Solutions, with Mr. Bastian's blessing. They are
fortunate to retain Mr. Bastian as an leading consultant.
Machine Solutions the manufacturer of these
high quality match grade Storm Lake barrels for 1911, Glock handguns, and a
wide range of other pistol makes and models. The Storm Lake barrels have been
recognized for their accuracy and longevity since 1983. All Storm Lake barrels
are made from solid 416 stainless steel and offering hardeneding to 40 - 42
HRC. They hold their tolerences to +/- 0.001" to 0.002" in all critical areas.
Featuring cut broach rifling with - one turn per 16" at a left hand
twist. These barrels deal in a variety of styles, length, and calibers.
